BIOKRAFT (https://hnee.de/biokraft): The project "Raw material availability of woody biomass for the production of biofuels in DE and EU until 2040", short BIOKRAFT, started in January 2021, investigates possible competing uses, synergies and innovation potentials of a changed forest management or a changed biomass use from the forest. The HNEE team is responsible for the qualitative assessment of the raw material base in Germany and the EU (2018 to 2040).
InnoForEst: InnoForESt is a European project funded by the Horizon 2020-Innovation Action to further explore the delivery of forest ecosystem services and foster the development of innovative policy, management, and business solutions.
BioEcoN: The BioEoN project establishes a Higher Education Institution (HEI) network of excellence for peer2peer learning and joint academic capacity building. Three European and three Vietnamese partners in the field of Sustainable Forest- and Bio-Economy merge different perspectives and connect a variety of stakeholders to address the challenge that bio-economy is not by itself sustainable.
