HNEE - a holistically sustainable university
We live and shape sustainability in teaching, research, transfer and administration. Our central concern is to drive forward the sustainability transformation of society and universities. We use our scientific expertise to tackle social challenges and work on forward-looking sustainability innovations in an application-oriented manner.
We want to be a good role model. We have set ourselves strict environmental targets for all internal processes and are committed to a high level of transparency. We organise the operation of the university sites and our daily interactions as environmentally friendly as possible.
We offer students future-oriented → degree programmes in the fields of nature conservation, forestry, organic farming, sustainable business, timber construction, Sustainable Tourism Management and climate change adaptation. Always in small groups and in a personalised atmosphere.
Our slogan is therefore:

On 10 October 2024, some university members came together for the 9th Health Day at HNEE for the Human Table Soccer Tournament.
HNEE is completely reorganising its structure with the reform of the internal structure and is thus acting proactively for a future-oriented set-up.
