City campus

The architecturally diverse and green City Campus is home to the subject areas of nature conservation, organic farming, nutrition, sustainable business, tourism and corporate management.

It is also home to

  • the university management, university communication and sustainability management (Building 6),
  • the administrative departments (Building 2 and Building 5),
  • the university library (Building 7),
  • a canteen (Building 2),
  • the office of the General Students' Committee (Building 4)
  • the Language Centre (Building 3)
  • the PC pools (Building 5) and
  • the central IT centre (Building 5).
Auf dem Stadtcampus befindet sich ein Teichbiotop, moderne Kunst und Hochschulgebäude in diversen Baustilen.

Forest campus

The Forest Campus brings together the areas of expertise in wood, forestry, engineering, change management and international forest IT.

Important cooperation partners are also based on this campus:

  • the Brandenburg State Forestry Office,
  • the Institute of Forest Ecosystems of the Johann Heinrich von Thünen Institute,
  • the Brandenburg Materials Testing Institute GmbH.

The campus is also home to

  • a canteen (Building 17)

  • the Career Service (Building 25)

Forest Botanical Garden

Founded in 1830, the Forest Botanical Garden is one of the oldest gardens in Europe. It is attached to the university as a central unit and is used for teaching and research.

The Forest Botanical Garden includes

  • the administration building
  • the greenhouses and
  • the garden with
  • root cellar and
  • event areas.
