StartupLab of the Start-Up Centre
With more than 230 square metres of space in the centre of Eberswalde, the StartupLab of the Start-Up Centre offers space for creative and innovative ideas and projects. In the differently themed rooms, ideas can be tested in practice alongside traditional work on theory and methods. Modern office equipment with several smartboards, variable workstations and technology for the production of prototypes are available for this purpose.

Our CNC milling machine from the manufacturer Step CNC is a classic 3-axis machine with a machining area of 720mm x 420mm x 110mm. Various milling tools (end mills, ball end mills, outer radius cutters, engraving cutters) and the option of processing various timber-based materials are available. The machine is controlled via a workstation and the corresponding manufacturer-specific software. The repeat accuracy of the CNC milling machine is barely measurable at approx. 0.01 mm. The backlash is just 0.015 mm.
Our structured light 3D scanner from Artec enables you to capture real objects (object size between approx. 5cm and 5m) and convert them into a digital data set. The 3D resolution of the device is 0.2 mm and up to 18 million points can be captured per second.
You can use 3D scanning in the context of product development and reverse engineering.
Our 3D printers form the basis for the rapid production of your prototypes. They can be used flexibly, offer an enormous variety of materials and are also easy to operate without much preparation. Material up to a temperature of 300°C can be processed. Sustainable, recyclable and flexible materials are available.
