DigiPrint-Low Emission - Process development for the digital printing of wood veneers combined with the development of a process for reducing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in these veneers
The aim of this project is to develop a process for producing digital prints on low-emission wood veneers. On the one hand, the emissions from the wood veneers are to be reduced. On the other hand, the technical process is also to be developed to enable large-format wood veneers to be printed without having to fix them to a carrier board. The veneers produced in this way can be individually formatted and processed in the construction of museum display cases and interior fittings.
The research project was made possible by the SuProWood project (external website).
