Welcome greeting for newborns of students

The AStA has been offering a lovely action to welcome newborns since January 2017. For each child, a tree planting is briedly considered in Eberswalde, which is dedicated to the child.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please send us the completed application including the birth certificate and the matriculation certificate. We will contact you as soon as the details have been clarified and, as soon as new areas have been found, we will plant a tree or a shrub together.

Welcome planting autumn 2020 - cooperation with the family garden of the city of Eberswalde

In autumn 2020, we initiated a cooperation with the family garden of the city of Eberswalde. In the family garden, an environmental education area with a school garden is being created, accompanied by ALNUS e.V. and the Barnim-Uckermarck civic foundation (Bürgerstiftung Barnim-Uckermarck), where raised beds have already been planted. The welcome greetings planted in the form of old apple varieties now form a visual boundary between this area and the path. The idea is to integrate the apple trees into the environmental education activities in the future. The row of trees can be extended in the coming years.

Studentenwerk Frankfurt (Oder)

In order to relieve the financial burden on families, students receive a one-time payment of 50 euros for their child born during their matriculation. The application must be submitted no later than 6 months after the birth of the child. The grant is paid by the Studentenwerk Frankfurt (Oder).
