Since winter semester 2011/2012 and as part of the Deutschlandstipendium national scholarship programme EUSD awards HNEE Deutschlandstipendium scholarships to particularly successful and committed students of Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development.

Using funding from the Federal Foreign Office, the DAAD offers universities a combined scholarship and support programme (STIBET). The aim of STIBET is to make a contribution towards improving the academic success rate of foreign students.
You can apply for a STIBET-I Scholarship and/or the DAAD Award by June 1st, 2018 when you are a bachelor- or master-student who fulfills the following requirements:
- regularly enrolled at EUSD (no exchange students),
- no German citizenship, and
- for Bachelor`s applicants university entrance qualification at a school abroad (also German schools abroad) or school abroad added with qualification in German ‚ÄúStudienkolleg‚ÄĚ
- or for Master¬īs applicants the preceding study programme at a university abroad
It¬īs possible to apply for one or several of the following 3 options:
STIBET-I-Scholarship for finalising studies:
The requirements for funding are good educational achievements and the expectation of a successful degree within one year. In addition, foreign students who have been in distress without their own fault should be given the opportunity to concentrate on their studies and final degree. This scholarship can be awarded for up to six months; an extension up to max. 12 months is possible in exceptional cases. The monthly subsidy at EUSD is 250 ‚ā¨.
STIBET-I-Scholarship for highly committed students:
The requirements for funding are good educational achievements as well, but also remarkable engagement in the international context at EUSD. This scholarship can be awarded for a maximum of 12 months; an extension is possible in exceptional cases. The monthly subsidy at EUSD is 250 ‚ā¨.
This award of 1.000 ‚ā¨ is meant for an excellent foreign student (from 3rd bachelor semester or 2nd master semester upwards, no exchange students), who is characterized by good educational achievements as well as by remarkable social or intercultural engagement.

General Study Counselling
The General Study Counselling gives advice to basic questions concerning the studies. E.g. questions about change of study course or basic organisational questions.
Subject Advisory Services
The Subject Advisory Services can be contacted with study course internal questions, e.g. regarding the concrete curriculum or individual modules.
Student Support Service
The Student Support Service helps with study and exam matters, e.g. questions about application, immatriculation, re-enrollment etc..

The Language Centre is the university‚Äôs central facility for language learning. Its international team of qualified instructors offers language courses for students of all faculties and degree programmes.
The Language Centre‚Äôs main goal is to prepare students for education and employment within the context of global communication.
We also welcome EUSD alumni, staff and registered auditors to participate in our courses.
The Language Centre works closely with all faculties to offer both general and highly specialized language modules. Depending on the requirements of their study programme, students take language courses as required, elective or optional modules.
EUSD language modules are structured along the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Modules are generally offered at successive CEFR levels to ensure continuity and progression. At the same time, the size and experience of the Language Centre team allow for flexibility in adjusting the course offering. Language modules are specifically designed to meet the objectives of the degree programmes as well as developments in social and professional life to ensure that students have the international communication skills they require for their future success.
The EUSD Language Centre is an authorized examination centre for the internationally recognized Test of English for International Communication. Further information is provided here.
