Application process for ERASMUS+ study semester abroad
Step-by-step to a successful application
A. Have in mind to acquire necessary language skills for your ERASMUS experience early enough and to get a respective certificate
(e.g. contact the EUSD language center for further help)
B. Deadlines for application
- For the upcoming winter semester: 31st of January
- For the upcoming summer semester: 30th of June
C. Find the right ERASMUS+ partner university (check with your language skills and overlapping study content)
- Please note: You can only choose an ERASMUS+ partner university with an existing cooperation agreement!
D If necessary, make an appointment with the international office to help you with further questions concerning your application process: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact your head of study programme concerning the choice of modules or the best time for a semester abroad.
E. Fill in the registration form (electronically fill out, print and sign) and hand it in including the required attachments
F. Nomination: Amongst all the received applications eligible students will be selected based on the information in the applications and the qualification for the respective partner university
G. Registration at the partner university. Clarification of the study project and definite courses which are to be studied at the partner university to ensure the recognition of the study project (LEARNING AGREEMENT)
H. Independent organization of sufficient insurance coverage (accident, liability and health insurance). The DAAD offers further information.
